YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SKATEBOARDING
(Y.E.S. PROGRAM)

The Y.E.S. Program gives teens the opportunity to gain professional skills through skateboarding and make a positive impact in their community, all while earning service hours. 
What is the time commitment for YES?

Youth Employment Skateboarding Cohort Schedule
The YES Program commitment includes attending workshops/trainings and supporting programs/events for a total of 50 hours of community service. Although some YES trainings/workshops are virtual, YES cohort members should anticipate volunteering about 40 hours in person.

  • Monday-Friday
  • 9:00 AM-12:00 PM or 9:00 AM-4:00 PM depending on the day and location
  • Youth Clinics
  • Women and/or Trans Sessions (WT identifying YES members only)

Mandatory Trainings
  • Orientation
  • Virtual Ally Sk8
  • Virtual Camp Training
  • In-Person Camp Training
  • 2+ Professional Development Workshops

Optional Workshops/Activities
  • Team Building Activities (1-3 depending on Chapter City)
  • End of Term Skate Trip
