LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge that we live, work, and skateboard on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the Duwamish, Suquamish, Muckleshoot and Tulalip Tribes. This acknowledgement does not take the place of authentic relationships with Indigenous communities, but serves as a first step in honoring the land we occupy and resisting the erasure of Indigenous past, present and future. In spite of federal, state, and local policies of genocide, Indigenous communities continue to exist, thrive and care for lands in Seattle. One way that we can make our solidarity actionable is by paying monthly reparations to organizations like Real Rent Duwamish. YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS

Don’t miss Skate Like a Girl’s summer day camps! In a safe, supportive space, youth will build skateboarding skills, make new friends, connect with mentors, and have a ton of fun. Camps use skateboarding as a tool for creativity, confidence, and community. Open to ages 6–16, all genders, and all skill levels. See you at camp!

**Scholarships are available for any family or youth in need.**

Weeks:

All Gender Weeks are open to skateboarders of all genders, ages 6-13.
Girls &/or Trans Weeks are an exclusive space for girls, trans, non-binary and/or gender-expansive skateboarders ages 6-16.

ADULT WORKSHOPS (Queer, Women and/or Trans )

Ready to reconnect with your body, community, and creativity? Join us for a one-of-a-kind workshop designed specifically for queer, women, trans, non-binary, and/or gender expansive adults at our pop-up indoor skatepark at Cannonball Arts in downtown Seattle.

Whether you’re stepping on a board for the first time, rediscovering an old passion, or looking for some fresh tips, this session is what you need! You’ll get hands-on support with fundamentals, make new friends, and gain practical knowledge like gear maintenance and skate lingo, all in a welcoming, judgment-free space. We’ve just added three new Sunday sessions from 11–2PM:

QUEER, WOMEN AND/OR TRANS (QWT) SESSIONS

Join us for FREE open skate sessions on January 18th and February 22nd from 2-5PM at our pop-up indoor skatepark with Cannonball Arts Center.

QWT sessions are an exclusive space for queer, women and/or trans skaters to build community through skateboarding.

WOMEN &/OR TRANS SESSIONS (weekly)

Women &/or Trans Sessions offer an exclusive space for skaters who identify as women, trans, non-binary and/or gender non-conforming to build community through skateboarding.

Here’s what you need to know:

You must REGISTER prior to attending. We highly recommend that participants register for lessons and sessions in advance due to increased demand during the rainy season.
Masks will be optional and highly recommended for participants.
Helmet & Pads required for everyone under 18

Scholarship funds are available to ALL WT participants. Please complete our short Financial Assistance Application to receive your scholarship, which can be applied to any Skate Like a Girl program, including multiple WT sessions.
