LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge that we live, work, and skateboard on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the Duwamish, Suquamish, Muckleshoot and Tulalip Tribes. This acknowledgement does not take the place of authentic relationships with Indigenous communities, but serves as a first step in honoring the land we occupy and resisting the erasure of Indigenous past, present and future. In spite of federal, state, and local policies of genocide, Indigenous communities continue to exist, thrive and care for lands in Seattle. One way that we can make our solidarity actionable is by paying monthly reparations to organizations like Real Rent Duwamish.
